stripped paint from car wash brushes... any cure?

Just picked up a car where it is apparent that too many trips through the free car wash just peeled the paint from the hood and some of the top. It is not worn down to the metal, but the primer is starting to show through. The rest of the car looks great.

The cheapest way to deal with this that I know of is to just find a hood the same color in a junkyard and replace the whole thing. But the top will still need some attention.

Is there any way to deal with this besides a slight repaint? The only place it looks bad is the hood and the top.
