1994 E320 Door Speaker Problem

My left front door speaker (sub) is not working. The other speakers are working just fine. I took the door panel off yesterday and checked the connection to the speaker, and it seems fine. Occaisionally, the speaker will pop, and turn on briefly - so it sounds like a loose connection somewhere - but where?

Any suggestions?

You have to bracket the problem. Try swapping with another speaker. This way you'll know if it's the speaker or not.
