I have purchased a car with a Becker Grand Prix 7992 installed.
But due to the cold and the fact that I only drive it in the weekend, the radio asks for a code.

Here are the details:

My inlaw's '91 300E4M's radio is showing ----- after trying to enter the code the stealer gave them.

I pulled the unit, it's a reman as marked with a sticker on the top.

I couldn't easily discern the serial #, so just copied everything down that was legible.

Any help here greatly appreciated!

I purchased a Becker Grand Prix 1432 (10 presets, 4 digit code) to replace the original when the right channel on the cassette quit working (poor mans MP3 adapter). Of course I don't have the code card (or the VIN from the original vehicle). Hopefully it will actually work (I was told it worked anyway). If not, at least I got a good faceplate as mine was damaged.

The Serial number on the head unit is 9716024.

Can anyone help?
