Hi Everyone,

I'm new here. I just inherited a 1991 500SL from my stepfather who died of cancer. He didn't start the car for the last 3 years. I'm trying to restore it but I haven't been able to find the radio code in any of his papers.

Can anyone help me with the radio code for a Becker BE 1480 Serial number X 9512693. I would love to keep the car original.

I am looking to install a used head/tuner/amp system in my w126 .

the tuner head asks for a code , not sure if it's a 4 or 5 digit code.

Im Arun Cheloor from Kerala, India. I own a W123 240D. Recently i bought a Becker Grand Prix BE 1432 cassette player from Ebay Motors USA. I have a new sony cd player in my car currently [as installed by the previous owner]. I want to install this becker radio on my 240D. However, i think, i would need an anti-theft code to make it work.

The inscriptions on the Becker unit is as follows..

" Model -No BE 1432 , Serial-No P 9705029 "

This is an incomplete Serial Number. There should be a letter before the seven digit number to complete the Serial Number. I'll need this before I can ascertain the code.
