Make your atermarket stereo look good in a benz!

Hi all, Just bought some of this burlwood look laminate. it doesn't look too bad, and kind of does but doesn't match the burlwood in the car, but of course it wont, but it does look pretty decent for miniscule items. I did my radio face plate. looks much better.

We all know how out of place an alpine and other radios can look. if you go to my page you can see, that radio does look a bit out of place. I decided to try it out on the radio face. It took about 20 minutes to open it, remove the inside buttons, and apply the laminate.

Looks pretty darn good, the wood laminate is a pretty decent match and the radio looks completely different now.

I liked it so much, I did my alarm remote too. but I'm sure it wont last on the alarm.

It was easy to put on, and I'm sure it removes easily when needed. I was able to make adjustments and it still stuck fine.

Just a thought for those of you looking to make some changes.

I'll post some pics as soon as I can get around to it.

I might do the shift gate and the plate behind the seat switches, possibly the guage cluster area too. but it depends on if I think it will look good or not. The radio definately looks good in wood style.
