Junk in my trunk

I damaged it a little while putting it in. I had to literally ram it in...

Little sub, big bass

PPI 404
Front 200watts for two 6.5s and two silk tweeters
Rear 200watts MONO for sub
3xs High and low pass...

I run an new power source from the battery... cleaned up all the wires, you cannot see any of them...

Next box will be smaller, tuned the same, but shaped to fit where the amp and crossover are currently, so I can access my spare... Think FG!

That's huge! I could never give up that much trunk space.

I built my sub into the trunk floor. I can keep my spare tire where it was - and no loss of trunk space!

Not really

the box was an experiment. It really belongs in a home theather; hits hard, and low, really makes a rumble. The sub is not a particularly great one anyway.

I am designing a custom FG ported inclosure that will mount the sub in the passengerside of the trunk... so I can still get to my spare.

thanks,

Kyle

I like that setup. Did you seal the panel in any way?

No I didn't. The floor board covers the whole trunk area (except the wheel wells) so I didn't bother. I could probably figure something out, but to be honest - it sounds really good as is so more work wasn't worth it to me
