Radio code for 1999 ML430 SUV

Need a code for a ML430 SUV. Cannot getmy radio to work. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

call your dealer with your VIN. they should be able to call up your code

Although, they (dealer) should not give it to you until you appear in person with the veh registration showing proof of ownership.

Have you looked in your owners manual, MB does not want you to keep it there, but if your car is stolen it will be trashed anyway. Most dealers will give it to you if you are the owner of record, and sometimes it shows on the work order. Trying too many times without results can lock you out for up to 24 hours, and key needs to be on to reset.

code information

I had the same problem with my 2000 ml430. Take your suv to your MB dealer. Go to the shop and they will use the vin number on your suv to get your code. If this does not work you will need to take your radio out of the dash and the serial # on the radio will need to be given to them to get your code. Taking the radio out was not hard, just a pain in my dash.
