Step On Brakes=Static On Radio!

When I step on the brakes I get static on the AM band of the radio.

If I flash the high beams the static usually goes away, but not always.

Any suggestions? Tough to listen to the games through the static!

Earlier models have anti-static clips on the end of the front axles. If your model is so equipped, your clips might be broken or absent.

you could also have a problem with grounds in your car. are your brake lights bright? are the bulbs old? you could have worn switches in the brake pedal...
