I disconnected the battery on my 1998 S320 and then had the CODE issue presented. After giving my VIN to two dealers and being given the same five digit code...which did not work, I was confronted with the fact that my installed radio was not the car's original.

I pulled the radio and obtained the Becker model number and serial number which I entered into this free Lithuanian website. BINGO! The radio works!!
