Becker Radio issues: Sound only comes from one side.

I have 93 300D and it has the original becker system in it. It seems like sound only comes from the left side of the car. the adjustments on the radio for the balance dont do much for it. It sometimes will pop in and youll hear sound from all the speakers again. What could cause this?
