I sent my radio to Becker and had it repaired for about $265 and it worked about 2 years then quit again. I am taking my car to a pro shop and getting a lower-end Kenwood or similar radio installed.

Becker repaired mine last year and now my radio turns itself on every time I turn ignition to glow. Have to open the fuse box to turn off the radio . I'm not even sure if Becker will be willing to fix it again Any suggestions? (Becker, are you reading this?)

Doesn't sound to me like they fixed it the first time.

give Becker a call and explain whats going on 201 773 0976
they do have a 1 year warranty. some of the radios from the 80's have bad capactors which cause a lot of intermittent problems. yours could be too far gone. maybe an exchange unit would solve the problem. |
