Swap out my blapunkt

I have the origanal stereo in my 10985 500sel the blapunkt woodstock sqr04 and i want to replace it with a pioneeer Super thunder3 (25wx2 15x4)i could not find any info on the blapunkt if you have any like the watts and what you think about swapping them i have 6 the origanal dash a 31/4 and 5 1/4 spakers and 2 8" 100watt sub woofers and any tips on how to get the current stero out and how to connect the new one

Just remember that when a head unit is rated at 25W, the most it'll push out before distortion starts to kill everything (including your speakers!) is about 5W. So long as you realise you wont be getting masses of power, then you'll be fine.

Yeah, change it! The other radio is..... 15yrs old! There have been improvements!

As for swapping it out, you're going to need to do some wire cutting. As far as I can remember, MB didnt use a standard colour code on these cars... shouldnt be too hard tho to figure out which wires are which.

Suggest you pull the old radio from dash (dont remove, just get a look at the wires) and report back!

i pulled it out it is toltaly diffrant than the pioneer it will take a long time to do i might just have my mechince do it
