No stereo sound when cassette played

Hi, I have a 1988 560 SEL.

Whene listening to FM Stereo, nice stereo sound, however, when I play a cassette, seems to be only right side sound.

Any ideas?

maybe dirty heads and needs to be demagnetized.

Cass Problem

Hi,
Considering the age of the unit it probably needs servicing. I work on hundreds of the Mercedes units and the older ones need some TLC when bringing them back up to par. If you would like me to take care of your unit just let me know. Cleaning the head may help but I doubt it.
