Running 8ohm subs down to 4ohms wire Q

Ok I have 2 MTX 10's that I want to run in parellel because they are 8ohm speakers and my amp is only 2ohm and 4ohm stable. My question is when running them in parellel I go from one sub's + to the other sub's + and negtive to negtive as well correct? Or do I need to go postive to negtive?
Thank You for any help

+ to + - to - is parallel and this will get you down to 4 ohms..

if your amp is stable at 4 or 2 ohms it should be stable at 8 ohms, since 4 ohms is basicly like double the power of 8 ohms
