I bought my last one from an import car parts place that has since closed its doors, it was about $40 if i remember. but that was several years ago and my memory isn't the best, and I'm a college student, haha!! I'm sure you have given your current antenna a thurough cleaning, typically I lube mine at each oil change and this one has lasted about 100kmi, so far so good.
I think I used steal wool to clean the first antenna and it lasted a while after that, but since a replacement is inexpensive, I chose not to repeat this too much in favor of replacement.
