The dealers put them in the footwell of the third seat. If you find a better place, let me know. ED

Depends on whether you have the 3rd seat. If no seat, suspend the changer from the rearmost hinged panel...the one that locks. Another option is to somehow mount it within the spare tire...Foam blocks to hold it within the spare is what I came up with. Good luck!

I have the third seat option. I removed the First Aid kit and placed it inside the spare. With a little modification , it fits perfectly now in the First Aid kit old location. I have not road tested the car yet. I need to put everything back together. I'm thinking of surrounding it with foam for extra shock protection. I also installed a subwoofer, between the third seat and the rear seat. The Sub really cleaned up the sound. Oops and a bridgeable subwoofer also, attached to the back of the sub If anyone needs pictures let me know. Now if I can solve the rear end Lowering problem with self leveling. The car still looks like a 60's hot rodder with the rear end higher than the front, sorry guys wrong forum

Two possibilities come to mind. The glove compartment, or the center console under the armrest, of course this would require some cosmetic intergration. I have a Sony 10 disk changer, and it will go into both locations with no problem. Now if I could only figure out where to put the amp and the sub box.

Cardude, there is a way to adjust the self-leveling suspension. I just saw a post on it recently, but I can't remember if I was searching the Shop archives or the Mercedes Mailing List archive ( http://www.mercedes.pair.com/archives/ )

Hope this helps

Thanks for all the feedback guys. I have it going now. I need better speakers in the dash and the rear doors now. Its pretty wicked when the sub exposes how crappy the rest of the speakers really are. I will tackle the rear suspension "thing" when it coooooools down some.

Thanks Again
