What do I do w/ the wire that goes to the cruise???

What do I do w/ the wire that goes to the cruise???!!!!!
There is a green wire (1991 300E again) that goes to the cruise for some blasted reason or another. Do I just ignore it when hooking up my aftermarket? What the hell is it doing attached to the radio anyway?!?!?!
Thankx.

Language... language...

That's the speed sensor input for the stereo. It gets louder as the car goes faster to make up for road and engine noise.

Your new stereo probably has no use for a speed sensor input. Would be useful if you install a GPS navigation device with dead reckoning feature.
