car audio forums or pages online?

i just found this one yesterday....they have a forum, but im not sure how much traffic there is on it....they have a lot of helpful tips on how to do just about everything as far as car audio goes...

Infinity makes solid speakers, I used to run Kappas a while ago, what did you need to know about them?

Does your website discuss the use of mp3 players, like ipods, in a car stereo.

I wonder if an ipod will work with my system?

Sound quality I guess. I wanted to run a Punch 501x(? that might be last year's model) anyway, about 50-85 watts to each channel and my Punch 200 (about 300 mono) to my solo 10". Just wondering if they are relatively decent sounding speakers or will I hear the difference noticeably between them and say Focals or even MB Quartz?

hard for me b/c the 1-2 shops I was at didn't have them mounted to listen on display ...

yeah we go over all facets of car audio, even some home audio, I have a very skilled MOD team on there, so feel free to check it out if you want

maybe a little difference, Focals are at the top end of the market, I have run MB Quart in the past, on average their highs (basicly the tweeter design) is just to harsh for my personal tastes, but Focal, A/D/S, Eclipse, Orion, Rockford Fosgate, Image Dynamics, Crystal, Brax, and Rainbow all make very good components, some much more expensive than others, but these are the components that I have liked through experience

My WEB site is under updating right now to bring it current. As I mentioned the AUX input will work with portables, mp3 players, even RF CD changers where the audio can be extracted directly.
