help on radio removal
hello
got a small problem. on my 87 420 removing the radio is a piece of cake. 2 small clips on the underside and it's out. However..... on my 88 420 it already has an after market radio. it's a panasonic with single CD and removable face plate. for the life of me i can't seem to locate how the panasonic comes out. the 2 small clips have been removed and unfortunately there doesn't seem to be any other pin, screw, lever or johnson rod to get the unit out. anybody out there have an idea how this thing comes out. obviously i got the face plate off. there are 2 little buttons one on each side that slip up and down but in either position position nothing happens. can anyone point me in the right direction??
