Ckeaning a cloth car seat

Whats the best way to clean my driver's seat? Its a W210 cloth seats, when I go mountain biking the mud off my back gets on the seat and makes it dirty.

Its elephant-grey, despite using seat covers the seat is pretty filthy - like a week old pair of jeans.

Any tips? I've tried my carpet cleaner (VAX) to little or no avail, and the covers are non-removeable as they're stitched into the cushioning.

Blue Coral Upholstry cleaner

I have had good experiences with Blue Coral Upholstry cleaner and a medium bristle brush to get mud and the like off of Ford/GM and Chrysler seat fabric.

Spray it on work in with the brush, vacuume off before it drys and then wipe with clean damp cloth. Do the entire panel not just the spot that is dirty. I use a fairly powerful shop vac that sucks the foam and liquid from the fabric.

Also you could remove the seat and steam clean with the rental machine at the local wal mart.

My mother, gave me a tub of oxyclean. I tried it one some random stain on my carpet, and was quite surprised!

I second the Blue Coral with a brush, but I also have great results with Folex carpet spot remover and a rag (found at Target or Fred Meyer, white spray bottle). Good luck.
