Any experience w/Dr. Color Chip?

I did a search, but with no returns on Dr. Color Chip Paint touch-up. Does anyone have any experience good or bad with this product? The product looks pretty convincing on their web site (http://www.drcolorchip.com/) but I'm more than a tad leary about smearing a lot of touch up paint on my SL the way it appears on their site. My main problem is a whole lot of "road rash" nicks on the front bumper and below, with some on the hood itself. My SL is also red, which I understand is difficult to match, but they claim to match the paint by VIN. It's not all that expensive ($50-70), but it's the potential iffy results that worry me! Any input would be helpful.

Why not just spend a couple a four hundred bucks to have the bumper repainted?

Hello,I was not satisfied with the product.I used it to touch up about a dozen separate 1-2 mm chips on my brilliant silver e300.The procedure was difficult and the color match was poor.My opinion is that the product would probably work on a darker color especially on a large area "rash" situation

You can get touch up paint from the dealer. I can't recall what I paid for it but it's a good size and the match was perfect.
