Black Pearl Why the Cloudy Appearance in Photo.
This is exactly what I refer to when I say that my 560SL photos are always cloudy. If you wanted to sell a black pearl car you need to fix this problem. Any suggestions?

what time of day did you shoot it? You need to shoot against a light coloured background, a white wall preferably with black on the opposite side so nothing reflects into the paint.

Why the two threads? You've been offered suggestions. Have you tried any of them?

Response to Cal
Cal, the 2 Posts are up here because one has to do withy photography and the other has to do with the ingredient required to bond the Zaino product.
You seem like a nice guy Carl in all of the Posts I have read, and I will consider that as I respond to your somewhat abrasive response. This is a good site Carl and has provided me with a great amount of tech help over the years and most everyone on here is courteous and helpful. My Mother once said if you have nothing nice to say, say nothing at all. That was good advice then and is really good advice on a board such as this. I see you have 83 posts on this site. Most have posted well over that before they start dropping sharp edge comments on a site where they are newbies and should try to respect the company of the other enthusiasts. Don't degrade the site, especially this one , we have great parts help thru Phil, Skilled Tech help thru a number of folks and others who genuinely try to help others. I am sorry that my Post offended you but I felt that a photograph question was a little different from an additive question. Happy Thanksgiving!

FWIW, check your camera. Lens might just be dirty.

first of all, black pearl isn't REALLY black. are you sure it isn't just the pearl reflecting light back at the camera? if it's OEM paint, it'll be metal flake.

Response to Tom
Touche. I missed the photography angle in this thread. Since both threads asked for suggestions on what to do about finish on your car that appears "cloudy" in photos, and this is, after all, a forum on car care, my confusion regarding your intent should be understandable. FWIW, it didn't offend me, just puzzled me that someone seeking suggestions and recommendations from others disappears from one thread and shows up in another, similar thread. Anyway, sorry for the appearance of hostility. None intended.
