Alarm installation 260E...NO factory alarm.

My 260E has no factory alarm installed at all...But with my audio equipment, I would like to have one in there now.

What can I do? All I find are "addons" for keyless onto current MB alarm's.

I've searched a lot, but found nothing for this situation

Any help would be much appreciated.

How advanced of an alarm do you want to go?

I have a clifford on my TE, and it lock/unlocks doors, turns on lights, has an impact and motion sensor...

What you need to know? I did my install.

I'm cool with just a loud horn if the doors are unlocked without the key for safety....anything more is a bonus, but I don't want a ton of work if its a lot more.

My car is always parked close to my house, so I basically just need a warning that I can hear.

Any recommendations or links on installation with it? If I had a factory alarm, I know there are tons of options that splice right in, but I am a little lost as I don't have any factory alarm in her.

Yeh they are all functional. No vacuum leaks as far as I am aware.

ok, this is easy then. you need a car alarm and some relays.

let me snap some pictures and get the diagrams on how to wire it up. should only take about an hour with some tools!

That would be awesome! I'm all good with electrical stuff as long as I have a diagram or pictures to reference...otherwise I have no clue where to start.

Here is the relay diagram

Here is a guide.

That works if all you want is an alarm, but no ignition lockout.

I have mine installed up under the dash so that it can block out the starter, and not let the car start. I need to pull apart my car to get pictures of that, so if you wait till the weekend, I can get pictures of that.

Oh don't worry about that...that's too much. I am cool with just the alarm. Thanks for the links.

Any recommendations for a budget? Hey any sounding alarm is better than none
