LOVE the P21S two step wax!

Got the P21S kit for $43.00 from www.motorhead.net and tried last weekend. I really like this wax!!!! Easy to apply, incredible shine level, paint enhancement, protection, no chalky residue. Just like the www.waxtest.com and www.p21s.com said! I hope it last.

Now what to do with all the Meqauirs, Zymol and 3M stuff I have laying around?

What is this Zaino Brothers wax? What is it made of? Where is the research? How can some bros from Jersey have better stuff than the research and endorsments of P21S? How come it is only available from them? I am leary of all this and the steps involved with the Zaino, which is why I tried P21S.

,,,if you're happy with P21S- that's what counts...why even consider Zaino?

Glad to hear of your success with P21S James. Might try washing with their "Bodywork Shampoo" car wash too. I use the stuff and swear by it! I've never had my cars shine shine so much after a simple washing. Very gentle on the paint, and gloss enhancers really make it gleam.

Being a German company, P21s has got to be even better for our cars!

I agree with -fad, my shine is so great and water rolls off my car for so long (even through Seattle winters), that the cost of Zaino hasn't convinced me it's worth it.

Regards,
- Ryan

The P21S kit came with: wax, paintwork cleanser, body work shampoo, window wipes, wheel cleaner, applicator pads and carrying case....all for just $43.00!!!

My car (black) has that "concours look" like it would have if it was sitting on the MB dealership lot! Put the P21S cleaner and wax on the wheels too and they have never looked newer!

Also I purchased the multisurface cleaner-$7.99 for those stuborn areas.

I am always open to trying different products and would like to see how P21S compares to Zaino. Having tried all the waxes now except for Zaino.

If Zaino is not any better, then I have found my wax!

Zaino is a long chain polymer resin (not a silicone). PS21 is a wax (carnauba yellow (Brasil) and beeswax). Zaino is a "plastic" not an organic wax. Whatever works for you, I'd use it. I use Zaino because it is like 'clearcoat" in a bottle, it's easy, it bonds to itself (resin) in repeated layers and you can wipe it off days after applying. Looks great also. I could be wrong.

It is interesting to read people's perception of value v. cost. Spend thousands on a Mercedes and whine about the cost of wax! Zaino's is the easiest, and longest lasting, wax I've used, and I've used all the top brands as Dale indicated too. It will stay on through Iowa snow and sub-zero temps for months. My shine still continues to get deeper and wetter with each application.

I, however, am not trying to convince anyone to use Zaino's, anymore than I would try to convince someone to drive a Mercedes...to each his own preference.

If you like it, you have your answer!

Haven't tried P21S wax (yet) -- am a new Zaino convert -- but am sold on P21S wheel cleaner. The heavy-duty gel is the best thing I've found to get off the clouds of brake dust our fine vehicles generate.

Will have to try P21S "shampoo" when my Zaino car wash runs out.

Would Zaino last long, protect and not mess up my newly painted/clearcoated wheels? Or would I be better off with an organic wax like P21S? I want to try this Zaino since it is a long chain polymer resin (like plastic) and not a wax.

How would the Zaino mix with a wax like P21S? Could they be applied over each other?

For an organic wax choice, I like the P21S products! The P21S shampoo is the best yet, better than the Zymol. Looks and feels like you just waxed the car. Just tried the mulit-surface restorer on my grill chrome-oh man!!!-nice

Where's the best place to get the Zaino stuff? Also, I've been using Meguiar's Cleaner/Wax and Gold Class wax. Can the Zaino's be applied over it? Thanks a bunch. I'm new to all this detailing stuff.

You can purchase Zaino directly from them......You can visit their website www.zaino.com for all the information you need. No, you cannot apply this over ANY wax. You first need to strip the old wax off using Dawn Dish Detergent. All application techniques are explained on the website as well as pictures. This stuff is the BEST.........bar none. Tyr it and you will be AMAZED!!!!!

For what it is worth........

I just did the P21 system after claying and some light machine polish (Griot #3), what a great result!!! I have not been this happy with the overall appearance in quit some time. I used to be a Griot wax devotee - but I have just made a permanent switch.

My next task will be to try the wax only (the cleaner will remove it) over Zaino - I have heard this is an awsome show car finish.

Keep you posted.

Steve

Zaino's web page

Just for the record, I believe the correct URL for Zaino is www.zainobros.com

I ordered some last week. Can't wait to get started.

I bought some Zaino just before Christmas and have to say the shine is incredible and seems to last much longer than the carnuba based products. My only complaint with Zaino is how it looks under certain lighting conditions. I always check my work when the sun is low on the horizon. Thats where all swirl marks, smearing or any inperfections show up the best. What I have been getting is a lot of smearing here and there. I guess I'm a perfectionist and I've tried everything to try to eliminate this. What I've just tried is I applied some Mequiars #26 over the Zaino and everything came out great, absolutely smear free. I don't have swirl marks because I have used a high speed buffer to remove 95%. I have a little bit of Zaino left and will give it one more shot. So as I've said, it really does shine up really great, especially great looking at night under parking light lights, just awesome, but during the afternoon certain spots show up as smearing that I don't get with the #26. I will have to try the P21s stuff and see how that goes.

Haven't tried Zaino....yet (Still happy with the Blitz! wax) but I'll certainly throw in another vote for P21s wheel cleaner.

This stuff is by far the best!!
