cleaning plastic headlamps

I watched a video and could not believe it.Mix baking soda with vinegar, and rub plastic. It took me two minutes to restore my sons headlight.

What are the proportions; can you post the video?

To me, the best method is to sand, polish and seal the headlights.

Theres a video on youtube,I bought my son a expensive kit,for his lights. Then watch video, and made a paste with baking soda and vinegar, and cleaned my other son's lights.Took all the old brown scum off.

I would like to add, after cleaning the lens no mater what method you use, purchasing Lamin-x clear lens covers will help maintain the clear lens. Otherwise in 6 months you will be cleaning again.

Cleaning lenses I make a thick soupy mixture of rubbing compound and warm water and use a black cutting pad on 750 -1000 rpm. Couple minutes a light and your done.:D
