cleaning plastic headlamps

I watched a video and could not believe it.Mix baking soda with vinegar,and rub plastic. It took me two minutes to restore my sons headlight.

To me, the best method is to sand, polish and seal the headlights.

Theres a video on youtube,I bought my son a expensive kit,for his lights.Then watch video,and made a paste with baking soda and vinegar,and cleaned my other son's lights.Took all the old brown scum off.

I would like to add, after cleaning the lens no mater what method you use, purchasing Lamin-x clear lens covers will help maintain the clear lens. Otherwise in 6 months you will be cleaning again.

Cleaning lenses I make a thick soupy mixture of rubbing compound and warm water and use a black cutting pad on 750 -1000 rpm. Couple minutes a light and your done.
