HI, i have a 1984 230E, and i have a lot of spots on all my seats. the seats aren't leather, it's more like a cloth!. The weird thing is when these seat touches water it becomes worst. i try some cleaners and they don't seem to work...if not makes it worst. I took it to a dry clean place and that worked, but that was a lot of money. Any ideas of how i can do it myself? thanks!!!

Ish
Did you ever come up with a way to clean your cloth seats? I just picked up a car with cloth seats and was trying to find a way to clean them when I came upon your post. I was thinking steam cleaning. used:

I have used a product called HOST for the carpets and works wonderful. They have a preclean spray that helps also, but I prefer to use "Sudsy Ammonia" that can be bought at Wal-Mart or any grocery store.
HOST has a website, but not sure what the address is! Good luck!! Rich |
