Reset Temperature Gauge?
It is a small thing, I know, but it bugs me nonetheless. On my 300e the "outside temperature" gauge has been performing fine for years. About a week ago, for no discernable reason I know of, it decided to start registering about 15-20 degrees too hot.
Is there any way to reset these things, or does one just replace the sender? Any ideas? Thanks - Bob |

I'm told that you can by a new probe unit with wire. Instead of running it from the display to the front license, I hear many people cut and solder wherever easiest.

Is this a Mercedes-only part? If not, any ideas what part number or where it can be gotten?
Thanks - Bob |
