when do you stop polishing the chrome? black stuff...

Hello Everyone,

I use meguiars chrome polish (it comes in a tan plastic screwlid container).

When i apply the chrome polish, i see a lot of black stuff (tarnish) on my towel. Then a i buff it out (more tarnish).

Then when doing the second coat, same thing.

Third coat, same thing

And it seems like its a neverending process. Is there a point when my towel is supposed to stop turning black?

How many coats do you usually use? I stopped at 5 or 6 and the towel is not turning black anymore/as much.

While it does look better at the end of the long process, i was hoping for better results. Any other products you would recomend?

Hi.

Try WINDEX.

And no I'm not kidding.

It leaves a nice shine.

Louis.
