Mono wiper
I'm trying to help out a neighbor with his 90 300D. It looks like the head on his mono wiper out of wack. The in out won't stay timed with side to side. I read the article at MBZ.org http://electric.mbzarticles.org/wipers/ but this head doesn't have clips holding it together instead there is one all but inaccessable screw. Does anyone have some information on disassembly or replacement.

Hmmm
Hello h2odiesel
The first thing to suspect is dry joint and/or slide. Lubricate it to death with auto trans fluid. This can be done without removing it from car. The last bad one I repaired by removing and soaking in a bucket of auto trans fluid for three days. Have a great day.

If after lubrication, it is not even from side to side, look at this post.
Can you lube a single wiper mechanism?? I descibe how to remove the wiper. Tranny fluid does wonders on the arm. I never saw the wiper glide across the window so fast!
