well, ive tried to pinpoint the reason my 85 300sd wont shut off with the key and cant really come up with anything...

i checked all the lines that i can find, they all seem to be fine...no cracks in them or the connectors...also none of them had oil in them...i read that that can be a sign of a failed shut off valve

i dont have a mityvac, but i do have a vac/pressure gauge....is there any way i can troubleshoot and find out what the problem is with this? any help would be appreciated... and if anyone can point me to a thread with some pictures that would be a huge help
