Have you seen the Mobil gas add about "speedpass"? It features two (2) count 'em, 2 Mercedes. I think the add starts with a fintail, and finishes with a W123 300TD

I just saw Starsky and Hutch (don't tell anyone...but it does have Ben Stiller and Vince Vaughn in it...) and there is a car chase involving Vaughn in a 108 chassis car, a dark green 280 or 300 SEL (like what I have). He barely seems to fit in the car, he is so tall, but then he powers it across a golf course. Pretty cool.

In films
There are MB diesels in Bottle Rocket (a blue 240D, which ironically is used as a getaway car in one scene) and there is a 300TD in Chuck & Buck (WEIRD, WEIRD movie).

Oh yes.. chuck and buck.... WEIRD movie. I agree. Forgot about the 300TD in that one. That movie was awkward to watch! Felt so bad for that guy!
