240D Front Driver's Seat

I have a 1977 240D.. My problem is my "butt" is in constant pain from what appears to be a "HOT SPOT" on top left side of the driver's seat. I have had the springs and pad replaced and the seat still does not feel very comfortable. Has anyone had a similar experience with this seat? What do I need to do to get a more comfortable ride from my 240D seat. In Constant Pain !! Help !
