1985 250D For Sale

I have a 1985 250D for sale. It is a Euro
model with 5 spd, manual windows and
steel wheels. Gray w/maroon int. and it has 183,780 mi. Overall in v/g shape with
only a few issues that are very minor. One
window crank is broken, a couple of
switches are bad and heater control valve
appears to be bypassed w/manual one. I
pd $6000. one yr ago and will consider
reasonable offers. Car is located on the east end of Long Island.

the 250D is a 124, but its an '85 so it will have the old style headlights. i think its an I5 w/o turbo. pictures would be great.

Thank's for posting these pics. I kept getting a file is too big error. I've owned
this car for 1yr. and put approx. 2500 mi.
on it. The previous owner was a woman and replaced it with a BMW wagon. The
heater temp output is controlled by a manual valve under the hood. The ac condenser fan is controled by an addon
switch under the dash, ac does work well though as does heat. There are 2 switches on the console, fan & window defroster that don't seem to do anything. Climate control doesn't work but dash fan does. Also motor has about a 2 second delay when shut off. Other than that it runs really well, much "quicker" the 190D we had for awhile. It's a little cranky in cold weather but so is my Ford Powerstroke. The body is very straight with only a couple of parking lot dings and no rust that I've stumbled across yet. Previous owner said it got 45 mpg on the road, we've never used it on a trip just short runs around locally. We get around 35+/- with it. I'm selling it to finance a 2.8
Powerstroke into ou '90 Range Rover.
It's a neat car and I just want it to go to someone who will appreciate it.

Have not tried that hard to sell it. Have been enjoying it, but now have other
projects coming up and it needs to go to fund other follies.
