Be careful just dumping in oil as the weather gets colder. It doesn't really mix that well without a lot of agitation and if it is too cold out, you are going to have a big lump of solid veg. oil in the bottom of your diesel tank.

I've run my TD down to nothing in the tank and ran 3 gallons of veggie oil (I believe corn oil).
It ran exactly like diesel while under load. Idle was smoother. But the effect I liked most was the exhaust smelling exactly like burnt popcorn! ![]() |
