I'm not sure if this is a scam or not but here is a MERCEDES for sale.

As with some other "great deals offered" this one appears to have been yanked. Over the past couple years I have found a few that were scams. As you did, I e-mailed some questions and even got replies. The replies were from the same person on different vehicles. These listings were yanked by eBay before the time expired. Hoax, that's my guess. Check the listing now.

Could have been someone who got ahold of someone else's ebay account info and posted a bogus auction.

Here is the reply I received from the seller on this item before it was pulled...

Hello and thank you for contacting me
I will tell you a few words about the Wolf..
First of all it is fully restored and looks just like in the
pictures. It is in imaculate condition having no damages, no dents/ schraches on and
wasn't involved in any kind of accidents.
The motor runs very well. This is a Mercedes-Benz, having most of the
original parts on it and the tires are almost new.
The title is clear, not a salvage one...
The GD Wolf belonged to my father. He died one week ago, after having a heart-attack.
The Mercedes is now in Athens (Greece) as my father lived there in the past two years, having his own business there.
I am now here in Athens as I took care of the funerals.
Because I can't carry all his things back home I am selling them.
I am willing to sell it and ship it to any of the UE countries or to
US. I will not ship to any African, Asian or Eastern European countries.
I know that the price is low but I have no use for this Wolf and I want
to get back home as soon as I have it sold.
I want to sell it as soon as possible so I am willing to pay 100% of the
shipping fees nomatter of the location.
I require a deposit of 3000USD. Money is a reservation for the Wolf.First
one who makes the deposit will be the buyer. I need the deposit to be
sure that you really want it and there won4t be problems with the payment when the Wolf will be at your door.
If that happens, then it will be pretty hard for me to take it from there and ship it one more time to another location
where another buyer wants it.
After the deposit is made I will immediatly proceed with shipping and all
the aditional taxes.
I wait your further questions and I will provide any infos you need.

PS: There are no import export taxes to pay for its arrival in the US because the Wolf is registered in the US...
