looks pretty
nnice. look for rust in the rockers and inside rail of same. this is the main structure of these pontoon body cars and it tends to rust there. it can be half gone and the car looks nice like this one. could be repaired but would be expensive if done "correctly" if done less correctly but achieving structural soundness it might not be so expensive.

Wow, that's a beautiful car. Probably slower than molasses in january, but should be great to drive if all is in order.
I'd definately go for it. Even if it does need some work underneath, those kind of cars aren't too common thesedays.

Yup, I used to own a 1959. To say that these cars are cool is an understatement!!! $1500 would be a sweet price if the problem areas check out.
