The diesel fairy..

The diesel fairy came to see me at work today, he was a lot, er, larger, than I imagined a fairy. Anyway, he handed me a handfull of five NEW injectors(or factory rebuilds?) that had been on his shop shelf for about ten years.
They were pulled from a new crate engine from MB he installed years ago, used the customers injectors. Only trouble is there stamped 115bar, I'll have to get them tested to see if there actually 115, but they look different externaly than a core set I have laying around from a w116 turbo diesel.
At any rate, NON-INDIA NOZELS, yay! If they are 115's perhaps I can barter them for some good 135's..

The stamp is the rating when new. After they are rebuilt the stamp doesn't count anymore. I have one that was rebuilt and they used a big plastic band to cover the stamps. I pulled the plastic off and read the stamp, wrong number.

You can probably just have different spacers put in to adjust the pressure, may take different springs, don't know. You can use those injectors after adjustment.

I have not compared them to those on my w123, but my core set I pulled from a w116 OM617 turbo(135bar) are physicaly pretty different looking. One is longer than the other mostly. Seems I looked awhile ago and all the new rebuild part numbers were the same for whatever I looked up with the same engine, up and down the year ranges. Thoughts?
