Fuel lines & Ambient temp
The fuel lines that connect to the injectors on my 1995 E300D are staring to leak. I purchased the replacement hose, but I can't get the aluminum tube/pipe (for lack of correct description) that crosses over the top of the engine to come off. I removed the screws that appeared to be holding it on, but it wouldn't budge. I even tried tapping it with a hammer, but it still wouldn't move. I need to get that part off so I can remove the plastic cover on top of the engine to get to the fuel lines. Does anyone know how to remove the aluminum tube/pipe?
Also, the ambient temp display is not working. When I turn the headlights on it lights up but no display- it's just blank. Is there a separate fuse for the ambient display? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The gasket on the rectangular end of the crossover pipe is stuck, you will need to pry it loose. You will also probably need a new gasket to put it back on with, too.
