Vibration/Wobble Question?

Hello fellas, my 300D started a strange behavior. Vibration at what seems to be all speeds up to 70mph. Can be felt through seat and steering wheel.

When coasting to a stop, car feels like its wobbling back and forth, strange?

Bad tire? rim? both? frontend trouble?

Thanks Andy

Start with

balance and have them look for shifted belts.

Hey thanks fellas, you were right bad tire, left rear had bulge. Great to have this kind of support for us rookie MBZ owners.

Finally getting cold here in NM, tried heater last night, only blew cold. Did search and learned about the monovalve. Unplugged it, tapped it with screwdriver, and guess what "hot air". Looks like I'am due for new monovalve.

Now if I only can figure out that clunk from rearend, happens at times with or with out load. Might be rear axle?

Thanks for your help..
Andy

Check your Differential mounts for deteriorated rubber. While you are under there check the condition of the front and rear flex joints for cracks or worse, Also check the driveshaft center support.
