BAS/ASR warning messages
It happened all of a sudden when my wife pulled in the driveway.
I've "Searched" and have a new Stop Light Switch on the way. First of its type I've ever seen with TWO sets of connecting plugs? Too bad there weren't FOUR sets as everything could've been backed up and redundant? My OBDII reader shows no "P codes"...I'm not even sure it would show up as a "P code" as I've found some information indicating it could be a "C code"? Harumph! Any type of battery disconnect/reset I need to do after installing the new switch? Would be a bummer to get it replaced and have the same messages appear. Thanks!

One set of contacts is N. O. and the other set is N. C.
Just replacing the switch will fix the warning lamps assume the key was cycled (looks for the fault constantly). Make SURE the brake lights are working if you're still driving the car! Gilly
