Help! Gear ratios for 72 220d and 76 240d

Anybody know where to find the gear ratios for a 72 220d and a 76 240d(both auto trannys).

My 74 240d 4-speed has some howling in the rear at 60 mph, if it is still there after checking fluids and center bearing I want to switch the rear ends from one of the parts cars and I want to use the tallest gear to keep rpms down at cruising speed.
I did use the search but found only 240 and 300 comparision.
Thanks
