My ALDA on my 300SD (turbo) is maxed out and my EGT's float right around 1050-1100F driving as fast as I possibly can (car is topped out). I havent seen it go over this yet.. So you can probabaly, in most cars, safely tweak the ALDA around and not worry TOO Much about the EGT's. Not sure why mine has to be maxed out but I kept getting more power and no additional smoke... So I believe that if you tuned to where you got your max power increase without additional heavy smoke (overfueling), you are probably safe with the EGT's.. This is on a 617 Turbo mind you...not a 6 cylinder...i will let you guys play your own ball game for now ;) |
