Has anyone used the on line manuals from Alldata. I have a 1983 300SD and need to find a good manual with out breaking the bank.

The CD version of the Shop manual from eBay for $10 is a much better bet. AllData is pretty slim on detail for many jobs.

The 126 part of the site doesn't seem to be working, but the 123 links work fine and contain most of the info you'll need concerning the engine, turbo, diesel injection and fuel systems.

I have used Alldata before. IMO, it is a poor copy of the service manuals. A few pages here and there but nothing significant. Better than nothing but that is about it.

Well so far I am spending more money than the information is worth. Just signed up with Alldata. Their information is somewhat less than I expected but readily available anytime with decent graphics. Last week I received a manual on CD that in total cost me $30.00 with almost totally worthless information and horrible graphics
