I lost a thread - need help finding it

There was a thread I meant to go back to recently and I can't find it. I thought it was on this board but it may have been on a Biodiesel/WVO board. Someone posted that they cleaned out the fuel strainer in their injection pump. There was a picture of a clogged screen and a comment about cleaning the french fries out of the strainer.

Does this spark any memories for anyone?

Does it apply to the 617? Do we have a fuel strainer in our injection pumps?

Sounds like a biodiesel/WVO board posting about a Stanadyne IP. I know of no 'strainer' in the Bosch IPs used on the 616-617 engines.

I remember a thread where I made some smart alecky comment about fried chicken bits. Strange as it sounds, you might try a search on "fried chicken". I don't recall anything about a strainer in the injection pump though.
