I guess I have to ask this...the for sale boards, which is probably where most items offered for sale should be posted prohibits dealers from posting cars for sale, but apparently this tech board permits dealers like this one to continue to post his cars for sale here...why?

Seems like Turbodiesel's buying experience did not turn out to be as great as one would have expected seeing the numerous problems he's had with the car and postings he's made asking for help with them.

I can see why private sellers could be allowed to stretch the rules and post things for sale here, but since the whole concept here is one of technical contributions and love of the cars, not of commerce, why are dealers allowed to post cars for sale?

After reviewing this particular dealer's posts I found almost no technical contribution whatsoever, the vast majority of his posts are commerce related and mostly about cars he is selling. I suppose if a dealer were also a contributor to the wealth of information I could also see looking the other way, but if one is clearly only out for personal enrichment is this the right forum?

Maybe I am off-base here - if so, I'm sorry. I just thought this was a nice place to trade tech tips and BS and maybe escape the sales hype and flebay pitches.

I have always admired the quality of the pictures in your auctions and saw where you said your wife does the photography. How much photo editing does she do on these pictures? I am not insinuating that anything is covered-up but just to get better light on interiors or anything? Does she use lights or just natural light?

The reflections in the glass and on the paint can be cut with a polarizing lens, makes a nice difference.

In some ways showing cars well is a technical endeavor and an interest to some of the audience here.
