Removing part of OM606 intake manifold

can anyone enlighten me on how to remove the part of the air intake that lays accross the top of the engine from the section the EGR connects to the intake manifold? I see 2 bolts on a support bracket at the 'left side' (next to the EGR section) and one bolt attaching it to the intake manifold on the 'right'.
I undid these and tried a bit of wiggling but didn't want to break anything...
