I need belt diagram for 83 300sd

I have a 300sd 1983 turbo and today the alternater belt broke and
the car ran hot... upon examination it now need a raditor, and barcket
for the alternator... but for the life of me i cannot figure out how
the belts run..

It appears that there is a matched pair of belts going from the alternator to the waterpump/fan and then down to the crank....

but everytime i go and buy the belt it is only large enough to go from the waterpump to the alternator... so i need to see a belt diagram or have someone explain it to me please.

Crank, alternator, water pump.

Fastlane catalog shows 2 different lengths depending on engine number. Sounds like you might need the 1037mm set.

I had a bracket break on one of mine also. You will need to replace the bracket. There is more than 1 type of bracket also, so you will need the engine number to order that part.

Edit: I just realized tou said the tensioner broke, so not sure if you are referring to the threaded shaft or the bracket, but either way you need the engine number to order. Click the Fastlane button at the top of the page and poke around in there. They have pictures of most parts items.
