Maybe from my garage, if so all my tools are there tho.
F***ing bastard!
I have multiple requests out for a replacement.
When I need parts, I don't friggin' steel 'em...G(reat)D(ay)!!!

I want a garage like that......though.

You would think a 3 car garage would be enough, right? WRONG. I need to move my biodiesel project and then I would like a place to PARK the project of the day; hate working outside or having to park the daily driver outside while working on the project of the day.

are you sure it didn't just fall out? It could happen you know. if the knob loosens it could just slide forward while you brake. It's a possibility. its pretty hard to steal it. how would they open your hood without access to the cabin?

Doubtful of it falling out.
Someone who knows these cars, can get it out in the amount of the time it takes to go to the bathroom. Makes me wonder if I'm being spied on.
As you mentioned, unlocked car only, I do not lock when it's in my garage, or at the store, usually.
This time of year I don't spend a lot of time outside, yet keep the doors open, in case I go somewhere.
My own fault, for sure, but good Heavens!

Wife trying to put your lights out? Just be happy they did not require something major like the whole car. Or something really hard to replace. Perhaps even damaging the car to get it. Kind of strange though.
In my area nothing used to be bothered until about two years ago. Now the occasional thing seems to stray from the neighbourhood.
Part of the current problem is the theif has to have a tremendous amount of charges laid to get any real problem from our current so called justice system. In many cases now the police do not even bother to charge the individual if caught. There is no point.

Oh, I know this feeling. It sucks, but probably shouldn't occur again, unless someone comes back for the matching lamp.

Years ago I had some Camaro rims on a truck, and the center caps disappeared constantly. They vanished so often, that I kept a few extras around. The stupid part was that I always removed the domed Camaro from the center, and replaced it with a teal and silver decal that was colour matched to the custom paint on the truck and the wheels. I have no idea why people loved to steal those so often, because they simply wouldn't match anything else out there.

many years ago, my father purchased a new '84 Ford Tempo, and when it was a few weeks old, someone debadged it completely when he stopped at the grocery store... We never figured out why anyone would want those badges so badly that they'd steal them in broad daylight off of a car parked directly in front of the doors to the store, and in plain sight of anyone who entered or exited. They got away with it, though.

A lot of those kind of thefts happen because stupid people out there just want to vandalize something. Its all their minuscule amount of remaining brain cells can come up with as a past time.

Sorry to hear it happened, at least those aren't that expensive. (Even brand new from Bosch Germany they're only $54 on ********)

Thank you all for the responses!
I still can't get over it, will wait till day light to post pics, but it's just a missing lamp.
Had the hood open as I was taking pics for folks on the forums I visit, so when I walked out to the car, and the darn light was missing...

It happens, someone put a nice key mark in the door of my dads F150. Deep one too.

People are jerks, thats why I park my car away from everyone, and give anyone near it an evil glare. Touch my car and you DIE, thats why no one messed with it in high school, and thats why all of my friends when they ride in it they don't eat, drink, smoke, or do anything other than sit down...in a quite still manner...they didn't want to try me...

I've had my car keyed a few times, and screwdrivered (they jabbed the fender and made a flathead screwdriver tip shaped dent) and then dragged it (hard) all the way from the drivers fender to the back of the rear drivers door. I had to spend 2.5 hours with a dremel and paint just to touch it up enough so it wouldn't rust, and it still looks pretty bad. They got it down to the metal!!! Thats like 11 coats of paint! Sadly is was before I added vandal/comprehensive to my insurance. But the next time I get keyed or dented, I get it fixed! I just got my windshield replaced today because a truck dropped a rock on me yesterday on my way back from the u-pick yard.

I still think I am going to make a bar for the back of the car that mounts into my receiver and juts out a foot or so like a spear. Then if anyone lightly hits me it will break/puncture things that will cost lots and lots of $$$$, (radiator....evaporator.....their plastic bumper) etc.... then they will know not to hit me again. I've been rear ended 3 times in the past 4.5 years. Thankfully none hard enough to do more than scuff the bumper....one guy lost his hood/headlights/bumper to my bumper. (an infinity sedan) I had 0 damage. I was all smiles.
