lift pump gasket leak
I am getting a slight leak from the bottom of my lift pump. I'm pretty sure it's coming from the gasket. The reason I noticed it might be leaking was that the metal part of the oil cooler hoses are right underneath it and they had a shiny spot that was wet there and this was a couple days after really cleaning up the engine compartment.
So, is there anything I need to know about before tackling this job? I'll get the gasket at the dealer. Does the engine need to be at a certain point (in timing) for the pump to go back on? Thanks David
